Poet Jane Kenyon was described as a good literary neighbor -- one with no airs. She wrote five books of funny, pragmatic, ironic, and passionate poetry.
During this fall session of writing classes
we will sidle up to some of Kenyon's practical poems
as lift off points for our own passionate paragraphs.

Donna Hardy is a marriage and family therapist, teacher of writing and author of Songs to a Watchful Lover.
