REVISIONING ONESELF AND THE EMPTY NEST

A disorienting mix of grief, pride, joy, loss, loneliness and excitement are born in a mother as her child leaves home. Just this seemingly incomprehensible well of emotions can spark the fire of a woman's new identity: If the role of being mother to my child has changed . . . have I? Who am I now? How might I revision myself in cooperation with this tender time?

In this group we will begin to explore new inner meanings and new possibilities (inner and outer) which accompany shifts in identity and which emerge from our present experience.
